Nepal Annapurna Skyline Trekking  [Book This Trip]

Trail Profile:

This is one of the most interesting and shortest trek from which one can have close up views of some of the highest peaks of Nepal: Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri. The interesting things about this trek is one will be passing through Kaligandagi, one of the deepest gorges in the world.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus which is 200 Km. from Kathmandu and explore the beautiful scenery of the hills and rivers on the way to Pokhara. 

Day 02: Pokhara to Pothana (1900m.)
The next day drive to Phedi by a private car and walk up to Dhampus where you can have a very good view of Machhapuchre, ( fishtail ) Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna III. Dhampus is situated in top of the hill so you can have a tremendous views of the Himalayas. After that walk up 2 hours through green jungle to get to Pothana. Pothana is famous for rhododendrons and marvelous scenery and you can even have the wonderful view of whole Pokhara valley from here. 

Day 03: Pothana to Landruk (1565m)
The road is paved with stones from Pothana to Deurali. It takes about an hour to get to Deurali from Pothana. Deurali is the small stop on the top of the hill where you can have your rest and can see breathtaking scenery all around. Then walk down from Deurali to Tolka for two hours. Tolka is a small Gurung village which is very rich in culture and looks very beautiful. After that trail descends towards Landruk about an hour where you can find yourself very relaxed and chilled.

Day 04: Landruk to Ghandruk (1910m)
From Landruk walk down to Modi river which is very small but carries numerous characterstics in itself. After that walk up to Ghandruk through a small villge. You can see the rich cultures, traditions and lifestyle of the people and compare yourself to their lifestyles for a moment how you find yourself and how you feel. The way up to Ghandruk is all about the local community and cultures.

Day 05: Ghandruk to Tadapani (2750m)
Ghandruk 
is a typical Gurung village and it has been succeed to make itself the most beautiful village in the Annapurna region. You can have a view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) Ghandruk is considered as a mail stopping point of any trekking. Finallly walk up about four hours to get to Tadapani through the beautiful forest.

Day 06: Tadapani to Ghorepani (1190m)
Tadapani is a small village which is surrounded by big rhododendron forest. It is the best point for taking photographs and from  here you can have a look at the numerous himalays. From Tadapani walk down through big thick forest to Banthanti which is rich in Flora and Fauna. In a similar way after walking about four hours you will get to another Deurali which is the highest point of the trek and you can see only few houses here. Then walk up for about an half an hour and again descend down to Ghorepani in about one and a half hours.

Day 07: Ghorepani to Tatopani (hot spring)(1190m)
Ghorepani is a very beautiful village which is on the top of the hill on the elevation of 2800m. It is famous for the best view point from where you can see the whole Annapurna range from the place you sleep. This village is the community of the Pun Magar people and they have the different cultures in themselves and Pun Hill is named from the local caste Pun magar. Pun Hill is popular for very good view of the sunrise and sunset and it is situated on the elevation of 3200m. And it takes about 45 minutes to reach to the top of Punhill. Then the route descends down to Chitre after one hour walk and get to Sikha after one and half hour. After walking down about three hours you will get to Tatopani which is popularly named as Hot Spring.

Day 08: Tatopani to Galeshor (1170m)
In Tatopani the water is hot naturally everytime. It is beleived that taking bath in the hot water will keep people away from any diseases and it is the holy place where no one can act as they like. Tatopani is the main destination of the Annapurna trekking where the route goes to different places. You have two options here in Ghaleshowor where you can walk and even can find the transportation facility from Tatopani. 

Day 09: Galeshor to Pokhara.
This is the final day of the trek where you will be getting to Beni in a bus or a car. After getting to Beni you will be catching a local bus or a car to get to Pokhara which is the ending destination of the trek.

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu.
We drive to Kathmandu by a torist bus which takes about 7 hours

Day 11: Departure transfer
On this day we take you to the airport for your final departure.
