This trek is especially for those people who have limited time and are interested in seeing Nepalese village life and local mountain scenery in the short period. This is an easy  short trek that starts near Pokhara and offers beautiful mountain views complimented by a terraced panorama of hills and mountains. It gained its name, Royal Trek because Prince Charles of the United Kingdom walked it along with an entourage of 90 guests, camp followers and staff in 1980. It is not a heavily trekked area allowing the beauty of this secluded area to be fully appreciated.

 
Ghandruk/Ghorepani/Poonhill Trek

This is the most popular and panoramic trek from which you can see the whole superb white mountain of the Annapurna range, various flora and fauna, lifestyle of the local people etc. It is designed up to Poon Hill, which lies into the foothill of the Annapurna massif. Poon Hill is located just 400m. above Ghorepani and offers such a brilliant view of the Himalayan giants such as the many peaks of Annapurna, the whole Machhapuchhre (Mt. fish tail) and Dhaulagiri (8167m).

 

 
Annapurna Base Camp

This route in the Annapurna Base Camp to the site of Annapurna Sanctuary is a spectacular trek. Although it has some steep to climb, the trek is not difficult. This trek is a fine opportunity to surround you itself by Himalayan peaks within a short time without having to confront with altitude and flight problem. It is advisable to allow two weeks to fully appreciate the high altitude scenery.
